Rachel Ingels is a Senior at Bedford Senior High School. She serves as Student Council President while also advocating for her SI, Sprouting Young Minds Through S.T.E.M. At a young age, she knew she wanted to become a Biochemical Engineer. Plus -- she's also a dancer. A girl that can do everything!

Her efforts include fundraising for the STEM for Her organization and encouraging young girls, like a middle school student she mentored, to pursue their STEM aspirations with confidence. Rachel has been involved with Miss America since a young age. She has continued to compete in the Miss Monroe County Program, placing all four years she has competed, and won the title in 2024. This marks her second local teen title -- with her first, she won the Overall Interview Award, as well as the Non-Finalist Interview Award at the

This marks her second local teen title -- with her first, she won the Overall Interview Award, as well as the Non-Finalist Interview Award at the 2024 Miss Michigan's Teen Competition. Rachel plans use her scholarship she has earned through Miss America to help her earn her Doctorate Degree in Biotechnology Engineering.
